“OUR STORY begins in the beautiful Española valley, where many Pueblos surround the banks of the mighty Rio Grande and the sacred Black Mesa. For generations, our ancestors have lived among the hills and canyons of the Pajarito Plateau, living in harmony with the land. This place is called Santa Clara Pueblo, or K’hapo Owingeh by its Tewa speaking inhabitants. We simply call it “home.”
